music4minds malmö
a new music event series in Malmö dedicated to raising awareness and support for mental health and well-being.
“Music is everywhere in the world. It lives in our celebrations, our heartbreaks, our victories, and our struggles. But what makes music so powerful is its ability to instantly shift our emotions—a sad song can bring us to tears, while an upbeat tune can lift our spirits in seconds
For me, music is more than sound—it’s a lifeline. It has carried me through highs and lows, shaping my emotions, memories, and experiences. When words fail, music speaks. It brings me comfort in pain, joy in happiness, and connection to myself and others. During the pandemic in 2020, when I struggled deeply with my mental health, creating music became a source of solace and light. A single note led to another, and soon the pain I felt was replaced by creativity, relief, and hope. Since then, making music has become an essential part of my well-being, a way to turn struggles into strength.
That’s why I’ve created music4minds—a new community and event series in Malmö. I want to showcase local artists and creativity while raising awareness and support for mental health. Music has the power to bring people together, inspire, and heal, and I believe it can open important conversations about well-being.
This series will provide a platform for emerging artists to share their talent, while also creating a space that values both creativity and mental health awareness. Alongside live performances, there will be personal stories shared, guided meditations, and specialists offering tools to help us support ourselves and one another.
Malmö is a city full of artistic energy and diverse voices, and music4minds is about celebrating that spirit while using music as a force for positive change.
